Instructions for the authors
The Editorial Board of the journal Czech Financial and Accounting Journal announces the following Guidelines for Authors.
1. Types of the articles
Authors may send to the Editorial Board of the journal Czech Financial and Accounting Journal (hereinafter referred to as the journal) offers of their contributions
a. in the Essays section,
b. in the Discussion section,
c. in the Information section,
d. and in the Reviews section.
ad a) The Essays section accepts papers on a financial or accounting topic that meet all formal requirements for scientific work.
ad b) The Discussion section accepts papers arguing with the conclusions stated in another research.
ad c) The Information section accepts information about scientific conferences and scientific seminars, or other scientific information.
ad d) The Reviews section accepts information about scientific conferences and seminars, or other scientific d) The Reviews section reviews of important publications are accepted.
Contributions are sent continuously through the Actavia online content management system. Contributions sent to the Articles and Discussions sections are subject to a peer review procedure.
2. License agreement
A condition for the publication of a contribution in the journal is a license agreement concluded by the author (the team of authors), in which the author (team of authors) provides the licensee (i.e. the University of Economics in Prague) with the right to publish the contribution in printed and electronic form of the journal free of charge, and at the same time declares thata. The contribution was created by his own independent creative activity and there are no copyrights of other persons to this work, ab. The paper is original and has not yet been published in public (with the exception of papers that have so far been published only in scientific proceedings or conference proceedings).
3. Review
The reviewers are selected by the journal's editorial board from among publicly recognized experts who can be expected to prepare an opponent's report with appropriate professional responsibility.
a. The opponent's report must contain comments and remarks from the opponent, a brief evaluation of the contribution of the article and a final statement, which can take one of the following four forms:aa) I recommend without comments.ab) I recommend with comments, the incorporation of which I leave to the discretion autora.ac) I recommend with comments, the incorporation of which I condition this doporučení.ad) I do not recommend.In the case of ac) the contribution is returned to the opponent for a new opponent review. In the case of the statement ad), the paper will not be published.
b. In case of doubt, the editorial board may determine the conclusions of the opponent's report for comparison with another opponent. In this case, at least one positive opinion is required to publish the article (see statements aa and ab)).
4. Selection of the articles for publishing
The selection of contributions is carried out by the editorial board on the basis of an opposition procedure. There is no legal entitlement to publish the article. No fees are required for publishing an article in the journal.
5. Form of the articles
Each submitted contribution must meet the following formal requirements:
a. are sent in electronic form and must be created in one MS Word file,
b. must be created according to the Sample Paper,
c. must be processed in accordance with the valid rules of Czech, Slovak or English spelling.
